In Loving Memory.  A legend has been lost. So sad. At the age of 73, Etta James died last night at a hospital in Riverside, California. Her longtime friend and manager Lupe De Leon confirmed the news moments ago, revealing that Etta’s soulful and iconic voice is no longer with us. Etta was suffering from chronic leukemia, dementia and hepatitis C for quite some time, but it was complications from leukemia that ultimately led to her demise. The music world is mourning a significant loss today. There will never be another like her. Our deepest condolences to her friends, family and fans for her passing.
